Maintenance and Cleaning Guide COATED PVC FABRICS (VINYL)

Regular Cleaning
•  Remove dust by wiping over with a soft, clean cloth.
•  Wipe all areas with a soft, clean cloth with PH Neutral warm soapy water. 
   Paying particular attention to body contact areas. Do Not Saturate.
•  For deeper soiled areas. Gently bush with a soft bristle brush while damp.
•  Wipe over with a soft, clean cloth using fresh water to remove residual soap. Do Not Saturate.
•  Wipe dry with a soft, clean cloth and allow to dry thoroughly before use.
•  Using the ‘Regular Cleaning’ method will increase longevity and reduce the chance of 
   premature hardening of the PVC.

Healthcare / Aged Care Cleaning and Disinfecting
•  Remove dust by wiping over with a soft, clean cloth.
•  Using a 10% Bleach / 90% clean water solution wipe over with soft, clean cloth. Do Not Saturate.
•  Wipe all areas with a soft, clean cloth with PH Neutral warm soapy water to remove 
    solution. Paying particular attention to body contact areas. Do Not Saturate.
•  For deeper soiled areas. Gently bush with a soft bristle brush while damp.
•  Wipe over with a soft, clean cloth using fresh water to remove residual soap. Do Not Saturate.
•  Wipe dry with a soft, clean cloth and allow to dry thoroughly before use.

Spot Cleaning Difficult Stains
•  Remove dust by wiping over with a soft, clean cloth.
•  Using a soft, clean cloth with 50% Methylated Spirits / 50% clean water solution gently rub
    the affected area in a circular motion from the outside the stain to the centre to avoid 
    spreading the stain outwards. Do Not Saturate.
•  Wipe the area with a soft, clean cloth with PH Neutral warm soapy water to remove 
    solution. Do Not Saturate.
•  Wipe over with a soft, clean cloth using fresh water to remove residual soap. 
    Do Not Saturate.
•  Wipe dry with a soft, clean cloth and allow to dry thoroughly before use.

Dye Transfer
Dye transfer from Jeans and other items of clothing can stain the vinyl surface.  
Using the ‘Spot Cleaning Difficult Stains’ method can assist in removing the stain; however, the dye 
can penetrate the surface coating resulting in complete removal impossible.

Do Not Use 
Solvents or acid based cleaners, household cleaners, dry cleaning fluids, steel wool, industrial 
cleaners, waxes, petroleum distillates, silicone oils, concentrated detergents, or concentrated 
bleaches.
